What we like:
Outstanding storytelling with a mix of humor and impactful emotional moments
Interesting and complex strategy gameplay that involves leveling up and weapon fusion
Re-action mechanic adds another dimension of tactics to the gameplay
Music ranges from okay to great, and at times downright nostalgic
Ability to carry over everything from new game plus to play the original story again
What could be improved:
Poorly informing the player about some of the game's mechanics
Limited number of save slots shown at a time in the save/load page
Multiple endings can be hard to achieve and require redoing a chapter
Training monsters is a grind and can be challenging to remember to use the limited commands
Equipment leveling is a grind, but not required to complete the game story
