Wild Hearts is an action-adventure game set in a feudal Japan-inspired land where giant beasts known as Kemono roam. Players use various weapons like swords, umbrellas and bows to attack these creatures, and also build Karakuri objects with resources found around them. The combat is fast-paced and satisfying with a parry system for some weapons, while the monster designs are an interesting mix of animals and environment. Players must also manage resources in order to build Dragon Karakuri and simple Karakuri structures with varying functions.
